Pest Control & Animal Trapping Services
Pest Control
Since every home is unique and frequently has different pest problems; we follow several steps to ensure that each particular pest issue is eliminated.
Animal Trapping
Jitter Bug Pest & Termite Control trapping service includes trapping and removing: rats, mice, opossums, raccoons, skunks, armadillos, squirrels, wild cats, and many other rodents/wild animals.
Termite Pre-treatment and Treatment
Termite pre-treatments are performed on newly constructed homes to prevent termites from invading the home at a later time. The treatments last different lengths of time, depending on the lifespan of the product used.
An active termite infestation treatment involves an interior and exterior inspection of the home. Since most termites are subterranean (live in the soil) trenching is usually involved for exterior treatments, while each interior treatment is unique and frequently requires different methods and techniques for the eradication of the termites.
Wood Destroying Insect Reports (WDI)
The purpose of these reports is for a pest control professional to inspect a residence for wood destroying insects and/or conditions that may be conducive to their presence. These reports are usually requested by real estate professionals representing a seller or buyer before a home goes into contract.
Quarterly, Monthly and Bi-Monthly Pest Control Treatments
It is important to maintain a protective pest barrier around your home because pests will invade the home as soon as the product residual begins to diminish. Each season presents new and different types of pests of which attempt to go where there is food, water, and controlled temperatures.
Also, Jitter Bug Pest & Termite Control professionals will help you to identify conditions that are conducive for pests around your home. With quarterly treatments and inspections while the treatments are taking place we will be able to identify new conditions as they arise.
Exclusion of Pests and Rodents From Homes, Sheds, Etc.
The purpose of exclusion work is to stop pests/rodents from entering the home, shed, detached garage, and etc. This may be done by caulking, using steel netting or mesh, wood repair, tree trimming, or other means. By eliminating the entry points, the pests generally move on and can be trapped if that is deemed necessary.

- Step 1: Listening to our clients - Since they live in the home, they know what bugs them.
- Step 2: The inspection stage - Each home contains different conditions conducive for pests (entry points and areas that pests like). There are different entry ways, harborage, soil conditions, water sources, and etc. at each home. Knowing that each residence is unique, each home is treated for specific pest problems associated with its conditions.
- Step 3: Treatment stage - Baiting, granulation, spraying, trenching and or exclusionary techniques.
- Step 4: Observation/Evaluation stage - After treatment is performed, we allow the products and techniques applied to do their work. It sometimes takes up to two weeks for the treatment to fully take effect.
- Step 5: Management stage - With each quarterly service, we evaluate the effectiveness of the last treatment. We then either continue with what has worked in the past or begin a different treatment if necessary
